Craigslist is great. I’ve bought and sold quite a few things using Craigslist. Electronics, game consoles, and stereo equipment mostly. But something so big that facilitates so many transactions is a breeding ground for all kinds of scams. I’ve seen my fair share of car scams on Craigslist – mostly deals that are too good to be true. The kind where they ask you to for a mail order and ask you to meet their friend or representative because they’re out of the country on business or serving in the military. But I’ve never run into one where you actually meet the seller in person.
