Odds are, you’ll be one of the first people they ask to buy something and one of the first people they ask to become yet another seller. Rule #1 of working in an MLM is “Hit up the neighbors, family, and friends – the people you see most often in your life.” Because when you’re part of an MLM, it’s absolutely imperative that you make every effort to ruin your most valuable long-time relationships by being incredibly pushy and irritating.

So what do you do when they approach you? Politely decline? Purchase to appease? Call them out? Addressing a family member convinced of their MLM can be tricky.
